Reported nominations, repeated overlooking: a careful framing
Literary recognition claims often travel faster than sources. The safest and strongest approach is transparent language: use reported nominations or reported consideration unless primary documentation is available in the repository.
That editorial caution does not weaken the core case. Huch's position in German literary discussion and her under-translation in English can both be true at once.
Suggested wording for this site
- "Reported to have been considered multiple times"
- "Widely regarded in German contexts, less visible in English translation"
- "Further citation work tracked in sources notes"
Process note
See sources.md for outstanding citation tasks before making stronger historical claims in marketing copy.
